In the heart of Sydney, a city known for its fresh produce, a family-owned business named Flash Line Transport is making waves. The brainchild of entrepreneur Indy, Flash Line is a transport company that prides itself on its commitment to freshness.
Indy’s journey in the fresh produce industry began in 1999 at the Fresh Produce Group at SYD Markets and then at Perfection Fresh Australia (PFA). It was here that he developed his warehouse management skills and nurtured his passion for fresh produce. Recognizing an opportunity to make a difference in the industry, Indy leveraged his understanding of fresh produce and logistics at PFA to establish Flash Line. His business acumen and practical experience in warehousing have been instrumental in shaping the company.
Indy’s leadership has thus elevated Flash Line Transport to become a significant player in Sydney’s transportation scene. Furthermore, from the early days at SYD Markets to the present, Indy’s journey has been marked by determination, commitment, and a firm belief in the importance of freshness and his deep understanding of the fresh produce industry and commitment to excellence have transformed Flash Line into a trusted partner for many.
Indy and Anushka, leading the charge of Flash Line, have built a team of professionals who share their vision. Together, they ensure the delivery of the freshest fruits, vegetables, and delicacies in perfect condition.
Anushka Dasanayaka
Co-Founder & CFO
Anushka is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and extensive work experience in the field of Business and Finance. She serves as the Co-founder and CFO of Flash Line Transport, a position that allows her to leverage her financial management skills and contribute to the growth and success of the company.
Anushka’s journey began with her completion of a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Financing at RMIT, followed by a Certificate of Human Resource Management at Monash University. This educational foundation has equipped her with profound knowledge in making strategic business decisions to ensure the company’s success and stability.
In addition to her academic achievements, Anushka has taken the initiative to enhance her expertise by obtaining a Certificate of Principal and Application of HACCP. With a compliance certificate in hand, Anushka diligently manages the services provided by Flash Line Transport, ensuring that all customer requirements are met while the company meets all regulations and industry standards, adhering to the ISO 22000 certification.
